Facts & Figures 2007

Studie Beurs - Scope on the Globe gives students the opportunity to obtain information on national and international courses and traineeships on offer. Studie Beurs 2007 attracted 85,000 visitors. The event received wide media attention in the Netherlands and was covered by leading Dutch TV channels as well as national newspapers and magazines.

Quality
Last year’s visitor’s survey shows that the majority of the visitors were satisfied with the range of courses offered by the exhibitors, whilst 93% believed that a visit to Studie Beurs was useful in their search for information. The exhibitor’s survey also indicates that the exhibitors were very satisfied with the quality of the fair and interest shown by the visitors. Studie Beurs was awarded 7.5 out of ten by visitors and 7.4 out of ten by exhibitors.

Visitors profile
Visitors of Studie Beurs are between the age of 14 and 27. Last year the majority of the visitors consisted of Vwo students (37%) and Havo students (28%). Vmbo students were represented by 13% and Mbo students were represented by 13%. 9% of the visitors were university students or students at a college of higher education. Interest in exhibitors from abroad
Last year a large percentage of the visitors (52%) were interested in studying or applying for a work placement abroad. The survey indicates that attending Studie Beurs - Scope on the Globe is an ideal opportunity for getting in touch with potential future students.
